The Youth Life Skills Institute provides developmental, cultural and educational enrichment opportunities for youth in our communities.
We invite you to support our efforts financially by being an event sponsor, a golfer, or attending one of our fundraising events, such as our Casino Night, or by making a donation.

We Are Back! 2024 Spring Golf Tournament
The Alpha Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. is reintroducing our Annual Golf Tournament. We are reaching back to our roots and hosting this event at the historic Winston Lake Golf Course. This course provided the first venue for golfing for African Americans in our local and even regional community.
We look forward to celebrating the course and hosting a participant centered event. Join us for breakfast, golf, lunch and additional offerings which will ensure that everyone finishes the day as a winner.
2024 Casino Night Extravaganza
Enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment with friends at our Casino Night, Saturday, April 20th, 2024. You and you friends can have a great time, while helping us raise money for the Youth Life Skills Institute's scholarship fund and youth activities.
The night will kick off at 7:00PM with a DJ playing all your favorite beats to get the night started. Cash bars will be available, as well as a raffle and 360-degree photo booth for all your fun photos! Plus, there will be heavy hors d'oeuvres served throughout the evening.
